The fine people at B&B Theaters have long been supporters of live music in KC through Johnnie’s Jazz Bar. They recently reopened the legendary, beautiful theater at 1400 Main in the KC Power & Light District. The Beach Nuts excited to play at the new venue, and we’ll be joined by guest vocalist Adriane Csikós.

Who are The Beach Nuts? "A musical encyclopedia of Boomer Pop Culture." The Beach Nuts are three of Kansas City’s busiest musicians (Rod Fleeman, Walter Bryant and Jürgen Welge) who get together for a little fun --- putting a jazz spin on classic pop tunes.

Their repertoire is a musical mix of Surf and Turf that includes songs recorded by The Ventures, Dick Dale, Cannonball Adderly, Mason Williams, Ramsey Lewis, The Beach Boys, Fats Domino, Santo and Johnny, The Monkees, The Surfaris, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Booker T and the MG's, Quincy Jones, and Henry Mancini. (Not your typical beach - spy -Beatles - Martini - Mancini - space age jazz-rock band. Jazz meets Pop. YEAH, Baby! )
